Pakistani Shiite Scholar: Ayatollah Khamenei Is an Influential Figure for All Humanity

The secretary general of Pakistan’s Shiite Ulema Council says the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, is not only a source of pride for Muslims, but a guiding light for all humanity, stressing that Pakistani scholars and people stand firmly behind the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Shabbir Hasan Maisami said the global stature of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is increasingly evident.

“It is clear to everyone that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is not merely a figure of honor for Muslims,” he said. “He is a profoundly influential personality for all human beings. He is a courageous, human-building leader who has awakened consciences and hearts across the world.”

Shabbir Hasan Maisami pointed to his own interfaith engagements as evidence of the Leader’s broader impact, saying that followers of other religions also recognize this influence.

“Several years ago, during discussions with Christians, Hindus, and Sikhs, I personally witnessed that they too believe the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has taught humanity how to live together while preserving human dignity, moral values, and mutual respect,” he said. “This is precisely the reality that colonial powers, including Trump, fear.”

The Pakistani cleric noted that global power dynamics are shifting, adding that even Europe, which once aligned itself with colonial and hegemonic forces, is now facing serious challenges of its own.

“These developments show that the humane and divine message of the Islamic Revolution has transcended borders and is reshaping global equations,” Maisami said.

He emphasized that support for Iran in Pakistan extends beyond religious affiliation. “In Pakistan, not only every Muslim, but every Pakistani who has affection for Islam and Iran declares full support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leadership,” he stated.

According to Maisami, Ayatollah Khamenei holds a deep and enduring place in the hearts of Muslims in Pakistan and across the Islamic world. “He is the pillar of our hope, trust, and unity,” he said.

Concluding his remarks, the secretary general of the Shiite Ulema Council expressed hope that Islamic leadership would continue to serve as a unifying force for all people.

“God willing, Islamic leadership will be a source of guidance, unity, and solidarity not only for Muslims of a particular country or region, but for all Muslims—and even for all of humanity,” he said. “We have chosen the path of Islam, and we will remain steadfast on this path with perseverance and resolve.”
